There was the most gentle breeze flowing throughout Snowpoint City, trainers wearing scarves, hats, and even mittens to keep themselves warm from this very icy city, but, the warm spirits of this city made it unstoppable. But still, trainers around each region wondered about a very small question. What were Pokemon for? It was simple to Kami. She always knew that Pokemon were for having great friends and a great life with them whether poor or not. Froslass seemed to levitate beside her, and Umbreon was on her lap. Kami felt as if she was the most loved to Pokemon sometimes, knowing her first would be there with her... Everywhere. She smiled gently, stroking Umbreon's fur and holding onto Froslass, her smile seemed to shock everyone with warmth, after all, this was where she was born, and this would be her Gym.

Salva walked along the snowy path that led to snow point city. She was not sapposed to leave her gym, so she was being very dissobediant by leaving her whole city. But she had a reason, she had rumors of great ice pokemon being caught here, and their wonderful ice techniques. She was here to make her pokemon that could learn these moves stronger, and she was taking her first vacation in years.

The wind blew by, but salva was not very effected by it, as she was used to cold temratures from a young age. Instead she smiled at her Umbreon that walked next to her. The pitter patter of Umbreons walking was mirrored exactly by the pitter patter of her vaporeon to her left. She loved her pokemon, and they formed the ultimate team, infact she was nicknamed the only unbeaten gym leader. She was proud that she knew that this was because of her strong relationship with her cat pokemon, more then the moves and training, which was also important, but not nearly as much...

As salva walked further into the icy snow her vaporeon started to smile and get hyper, running circles in the snow, and every now and then throwing herself into its cold mass. Umbreon would never be caught alive doing this, she was much more statly, and royal acting, as if she knew that salva had a special love for her, due to her being salva's first pokemon. Salva loved all her pokemon, but it was true, if anything were happen to her Umbreon, she would not know what to do next.

The three walked faster, led by the speeding Vaporeon, until they emerged from the cold foerrest and into the start of the town. Salva now was happy, she was getting tired, but the sight of being almost there was rejuvinating... she started to run after her vaporeon, laughing as she caught on to the game.
"vape-vaporeon" It shouted cutly. Salva continued to run after her beloved pokemon playing its game, while her Umbreon walked behind, fully confident, in a royal manner.

Salva stopped when she saw a girl watching her and her pokemon. But what really caught her eye was the sight of her Umbreon. Salva almost was tripped by the wriled up vaporeon, before it saw the pokemon as well. Umbreon had evedently saw it as well as it sped up to salva and came through under her legs, with an intimidating eye.

"Sorry, i was just playing with my pokemon" salva said as if she were intruding on something...
"I see you have an Umbreon as well, was it your first?"

She looked around before she could even stand, jumping down from the gym roof, landing in the cold, snowy horizon and looking up to the girl, the Umbreon and Froslass also coming down, each one elegantly danced around in the snow, hearing the other female trainer's voice made her nod slowly to her words. "It's alright! Pokemon are meant to be your best friend and you can play with them anytime!" Kami laughed, she nodded slowly once again, "Yes, Umbreon was my first Pokemon. My dad brought it to me for the first time, which he saved from dying, because Umbreon had a broken paw."

Salva was moved by the story, but she could not imagine that being given an already evolved and mature pokemon would hold the same type of connection as having your pokemon from the beginning and watching them grow. This is why Salva would never try and catch an evolved pokemon, because that way they would have some type of barrier between them, and salva knew her secret was their strong connection.

"Thats so cute" salva said, catching herself from being sharp. She did not know why should was reacting this way. She guessed that she was sencing a rivalry between them. She had an umbreon, so did salva, but salva was curious by which was stronger. This feeling was compelled to make salva speak by her competitive atitude.
"Excuse me for asking, but" Salva paused, thinking about her question. She wanted to have her amazing umbreon, against this playful one. Salva was confused by seeing a playful Umbreon. She had thought that they just did not do that and that was part of being a dark pokemon. But she was prooven wrong.
"Im sorry for asking, but me and my Umbreon would very much like to see which is a stronger pokemon and trainer. So may we please have a quick battle.'' ?

Salva was embarassed by her own question, and hoped she did not come off as a rude person, but she could not hide from her competitive attitude, it was one of her most prominent feelings...
"Umby-Bree-Breon" said her umbreon smiling at her and rubbing up against her leg...

Kami smiled gently and nodded to her question and began to look to Salva, it was true they seemed to have a rivalry already, but that was a great part of being a Pokemon trainer. "Against my Umbreon?" Kami asked with a soft tone, feeling the Umbreon come up behind her, "Um-Um-Bree!" the Umbreon began to tense it's fur at the sight of an almost duplicate, Kami began to put on a pair of white gloves and the cuffs were rimmed black and part of the middle was cut. Kami began to nod again, "I choose you, Umbreon!"

Salva smiled, she knew what the other trainer was thinking, and that was one of the best parts of being a trainer. But this was one of the first battles fought out of her gym, and she did not have the immediate advantage of knowing the landscape, in fact, the other trainer did. But she was not scared, just curious of how her talented Umbreon would win.

Salva jumped back, leaving her Umbreon standing in front of her, standing about three feet away.
"well Umbreon, lets show them too" She said, causing adrenalin to rush into the both of them. Ubreons tail flickered slightly, as it crouched in a pounce form.
"Umbree"

With that salva was ready to win!
Quickly she jumped in the air again, pointing at her Umbreon,
"Ok, lets start this off NOW! Hyper beam now Umbreon," With that the Umbreon jumped into the air, passing its trainer, until it arched its back and launched an extremely powerful hyper beam, dark with color. This hyper beam did not only blast in one beam, but three, all forming from an initial ball of energy at the mouth, the whole thing looking as though it is filled with lightening, black lightening. All three beams sped towards the other Umbreon, all three spinning around each other.

Salva had yet not to be amazed at her prodigy pokemon...
